Originally ArchiCAD add-on for Finnish construction company YIT Oyj that was later adopted by Graphisoft Rt. Used for estimating costs of construction. Petteri's tasks were doing specification with Olli Nummelin and Susanne Backas from YIT and implementing the product.

EU-funded 3-year DUMAS-project researching speech based telephony systems (http://dumas.uiah.fi/). Made telephony newspaper reading system for Finnish Federation for the Visually Impaired people with Java.

The best Finnish cd-rom encyclopedia published by WSOY, which also is the only one, which visually impaired persons can use thanks to it's speaking interface. Petteri's part has been designing the product together with the publisher and implementing the whole product (2002-2005).

SATO, an XML based editorial system for Finnish publisher Gummerus Kustannus Oy.
Combined MS SQL Server with help of extended stored procedures to Adobe FrameMaker and Web based editing system. Petteri's tasks were database planning, implementation and FrameMaker integration.
WSOY dictionary cd-rom
2003
A suite of cd-rom dictionaries for Finnish publisher WSOY. Petteri's tasks were designing and implementing the product with a team.
Timehouse Spech Xtra and SpeechServer
2002, 2003
2002 Timehouse Speech Xtra, an add-on for Macromedia Director to allow developers to make their multimedia presentations speaking with speech synthesizer. In 2003 Timehouse SpeechServer for any Windows programming environment including C++, Java, Delphi and Visual Basic. Petteri's role was project management, writing documentation and coding the actual add-ons.

A cd-rom targeted to persons in charge of company's bookkeeping or juridical questions. Contains quarterly material updates on cd-rom. Current version also loads updates automatically from the Internet. Published by WSOY. Petteri's tasks were designing the product together with WSOY and implementing the whole cd-rom product.

Nokia Monitor test

Configure your monitor correctly. This application is in use by various magazines doing monitor tests. Sadly, this application did not prevent Nokia Displays from falling prey to low-cost manufacturers.
Nokia DisplayWare
1996
Nokia DisplayWare, a widespread application to control Nokia monitors. Petteri was in a two person team that started the work at Intel factories at Phoenix, AZ working at start with low-level USB-drivers and later implementing the Windows control panel application.
Mikropuhe, Finnish speech synthesizer
1994 Version 1.0, Version 5.0 2003 - still active
Synthesizer engine is made by Kristian Töyrä / Timehouse Oy, text processing, interfaces and porting to various operating systems including Windows, Windows CE, DOS, Linux and Symbian OS by Petteri.
